"I will mother, I will." Daenora purred, tucking him closer and petting over his head. Daenora may have brought a little lamb into the dragon's maw, but she would be damned if she wasn't the dragon he rested within.
Princess Daenora picked up a stray little lamb in Flea Bottom and brought him into the dangerous halls of the Red Keep - where around every corner is someone trying to steal her pup away.

There's the very brief touch of a hand on his shoulder, and then the King settles down onto his chair, crown on his head and stiff as a fucking board. Gone the slouch – he likes to criticise Maekar for slouching in chairs as if he himself isn't just as bad – and the sevendamned twiddling of his fucking rings, and the perpetual half-smile he normally wears, and Maekar'd have more sympathy if he hadn't explicitly told Baelor not to attend.
Maekar has had it, with his fucking brother and the fucking hedge knight and especially with the great fucking importance of it all.
