What he doesn't know is that these aren't ordinary cats—they're his colleague Kyojuro Rengoku and his younger brother Senjuro, accidentally transformed by a magical charm gone wrong.
For a month, Tengen learns to care for these unexpected guests. He buys gourmet cat food, rushes to emergency vet visits, and discovers that maybe he's capable of attachment after all. When the transformation reverses and the cats become human again, Tengen has to face an uncomfortable truth: he's fallen in love with the annoyingly optimistic History teacher who used to sit on his lesson plans.
