Other times, James steps into his backyard after a day out of the house, and the only signs Jean has been there are the neatly trimmed bushes, weedless soil, and a basket full of fresh vegetables sitting on the back steps.
5 AM for a student-athlete who had played a tough game the night before is just too early for James to let slide. He sighs and flicks on the coffee machine before making his way outside.
