Summary
The Bradshaws have a long and sordid history with the Horizon festival. Not that Bradley dwells on it now, he’s happier than he has ever been, finally reaching his goal of heading up the cross-country outpost like his father has been amazing. Chasing dreams, he regales to anyone who will listen, chasing ghosts, his dreams whisper back. This year, he finally gets to reconnect with some old faces. His earliest memories were at west coast and south american festivals, in the passenger seat of his dad’s bronco or behind the announcers' table with his mom. It had shaped him into the man he was. Learning to race, becoming one with his car, it's as close to freedom as you could get. Although the days were long and the planning arduous, the time he got racing was worth every ounce of work he put in, and damn if he would let anything dampen his mood.
---
This is heavily inspired by the video game Forza Horizon 5 but the storyline is entirely my own! All locations are based on the in-game map not a real life map of Mexico thus the scale is a little unrealistic so racing across the country is not as big of a task as it actually is.

Summary
The A is late again. The unfortunate reality of working late and missing his usual train is setting in as he kicks a crumpled receipt in the empty subway terminal on Fulton Street. Jake doesn’t mind waiting, hell, ever since he moved to New York all those years ago, all he’s done is go, with no regard for a break or a breather. But internally, he mourns the loss of his evening eye candy.

Summary
For Bradley, it starts with the accident.
Somehow, he lands the plane, his muscle memory taking over as his mind crashes with Hangman to the ground. The rest of their classmates are standing on the tarmac, a few because they’re worried and most because they’re looking for a show. Bradley doesn’t have time for either.
Or: Hangman gets in an accident while they're still at Top Gun. It changes nothing, except that it kind of does.

Summary
Bradley is ready to go home. Not to Chicago and certainly not to the Lake of the Ozarks, but the Wright Resort project is the ticket that will get him back to California. All he has to do is convince a town to approve a resort they all hate...while working with his ex's family. Luckily, the hot, local Marina owner might be the solution to both problems. Jake Seresin is the perfect candidate to help him- just insane enough to do it, a man who knows the people, and most of all, not a risk to Bradley's heart. After all, there's no world where they'd ever work for real.
Or
Bradley's a Project Manager for a big firm in Chicago, his ex is a wannabe midwestern Hilton who thinks he should run for office, Jake isn't just a dockhand, and there are definitely raccoons plotting Bradley's demise. Love isn't always easy, but it is damn simple.

Summary
"What are you in for?" Mustache asks. Jake tips his head to the side to look at him. He seems to be asking earnestly; Jake wonders how long this guys been stuck in a holding cell for him to be trying to make casual conversation.
"Being too damn handsome," Jake says after a beat. "Can't imagine you've ever had that problem though."
To his surprise, the guy looks delighted by Jake's snippiness, his eyes widening and a smile blooming across his face. As soon as the smile starts, the guy grimaces, rubbing at his jaw. "Maybe you just have bad taste."

Summary
A road trip traversing the country, growing up before you're fully ready, and Bradley: destructive, dealing with it, and deeply in love.
He didn’t care if his shirt was stuck to his back from the muggy heat of the subway, or if someone had spilled their halal cart onto the platform and it was sticking to the bottom of his shoe. This – the grime, the rumble of the tracks, the sticky air, and Jake looking at him – was the most romantic city, a cacophony crash for the two of them.
