Summary
A chance encounter has Tomura Shigaraki, leader of the Paranormal Liberation Front, thrown into Izuku Midoriya's already complicated love life.
A hidden relationship with pro hero and childhood best friend Katsuki Bakugo does nothing to help, as it continues to leave Izuku wanting for more.
With his work life as a psychiatrist at Tatarus and personal life starting to intergrate, Izuku starts slipping up and the worst options start becoming the easiest to make.
Will his hero friends realize he's his drowning before Shigaraki can truly get his claws into the young man, or will he be led astray and turn on the very people he admires.

It was fate that Izuku came face to face with the monster known as Tomura Shigaraki, it was plain old stupidity that he stayed, and it was curiosity that kept him coming back for more. When Izuku Midoriya tries out a new app to meet people, he doesn't expect his first meet-up to entail chatting with his nemesis in the park- much less, to learn how human Tomura Shigaraki is. And if Izuku happens to think Tomura is actually good company, well, no one but him needs to know that. The two clicked, having more in common with their childhoods and society's views on quirks than ever expected. What's more, Tomura appears just as talkative as Izuku is. He's witty, a little mean, and generally a bad idea for Izuku. Still, Izuku finds himself enthralled with the thoughtful (still evil) person he finds under the surface as Tomura begins to show him all the wonderful things he doesn't share with anyone else. Lying is not something Izuku ever thought he'd do, but as he tries to balance his growing relationship with Tomura and his hard work to one day become a pro-hero- things don't go as planned. What started as a mission to help train Midoriya for UA's entrance exam, leads to unexpected friendships, the exposition of several conspiracies, and more than their fair share of action and violence. "I’m only two minutes late!” Izuku protested. Had he missed the start of an important test? None of the national, standardized tests were supposed to happen this month and even being two minutes late to one of those wouldn’t elicit this sort of reaction. They were discussing their career interest forms today, but that was it. Nothing time-critical was supposed to be happening.
“Midoriya, you were reported missing a week ago. No one has seen you for eight days. The police have been combing the city for you.”
"I’m sorry. What?”
Midoriya Izuku went missing for a week and turned up in a back alleyway with skills he's never even heard of and no memory of how he came by them. He resigns himself to never learning the truth of what happened to him, but he shouldn't waste this chance should he? He could become a hero with reflexes like these.

After his dream is finally crushed, Izuku isn’t quite sure there’s anything left for him to live for, but...he can’t exactly kill himself either, not without hurting the people he cares the most about. So, when he realizes that the quirkless can’t technically be vigilantes, it seems like the best of both worlds. He’ll be able to save people even without being a hero and, if he happens to die while he’s at it...well, like Kacchan said, maybe he’d be born with a quirk in the next life.

Izuku Midoriya is unlucky, to say the least and life hasn't exactly been kind. Things weren't so bad in the beginning, but once he was diagnosed quirkless, well, it all went to shit. Everyone grew to hate him, even his best friend and own father.
Was it really that impossible to become a hero without a quirk? It doesn't really matter because to Izuku, the term hero is flexible. He'll be his own hero because he's learnt from his own experience, people are selfish and the only one he can rely on is himself.
Left alone to fend for himself in the world, Izuku goes out to change things on his own terms, despite his methods being slightly illegal. Keyword, slightly. It's only illegal if he gets caught, right?

Summary
Quirks. Superpowers that most anyone holds nowadays. Quirks can range from anything from running a millisecond faster to the strength to change the weather with just one punch from the wind pressure it generates. Quirks are everything. Quirks define who you are. Every child is elated to discover their quirk and find out who they truly are. This happens around the ripe age of four years old. Some are natural-born heroes. Others are perfect for other occupations such as baking or being an artist. With such a high hope for the future that a quirk brings, one would think they would be happy to discover theirs and reveal just how useful they can be.
But…
What happens when your quirk dictates you as nothing more than a doll to be used by others?Izuku Midoriya found out four-years-old that not all people are created equally.
He found out when he drew the short end of the stick of luck and ended up with a quirk worse than quirklessness.
He's dealt with it long enough.Now it's time for Izuku to take hold of his own strings and stop letting others control his life. He won't be a doll forever.

Izuku must learn his place in a broken and cruel world. He must learn the cost of being a hero. He must learn the cost of changing the world to his own image. In a world divided by factions vying for control, oppressive governments, and sympathetic villains, Izuku must decide his place amongst the chess pieces. He'll have to decide what to make of the broken dreams and shattered faith of an indifferent world. He'll need the power to rise above the mire and muck of despair.
Thankfully, he was never quirkless.
Sometimes quirks hide until they are triggered. Izuku tasted death and found it lacking, every flavour bitter and lacking spice. In the moments between death and life, he gazed into the howling abyss and it followed him home. Everything he thought he knew about the world is a lie. There are monsters lurking in the dark below, always waiting and always watching.
They wait patiently, waiting for one to sit upon a throne of crystal madness and eternal suffering. They have waited for aeons and will wait until the end of eternity.
They wait for Izuku Midoriya.
