Acer, th golden boy hero. He has the face, the smile, the charm. What's not to love? And the city agreed. He became a top hero quickly, while balancing his normal life in college. Though hero-ing has been harder with the more public attacks of Genesis..and he still doesn't know why. He has his own secret to worry about.

Summary
I've made many mistakes in my life, but agreeing to The Icarus Project was by far my worst. It led me back down a path I thought I had left behind me. I was an idiot to think escaping Him would be that easy. I should have come up with an excuse for why Harper and I couldn't participate. Instead, I became a modern-day Icarus, flying too close to the sun and ultimately plummeting to my downfall.
