"Little god," Qin sing songs, grin sharp, predatory, triumphant, "do you surrender?" He purrs it out, soft and throaty. The arena seems to hold its breath, humans and gods alike leaning forward in their seats. If Hades surrenders he would be the first.
"I surrender," a mere whisper yet in the silent arena it is heard as if it were yelled. Qin leans back, smug, satisfied and then the stands are in an uproar.
The rules have changed. Gods and humans alike have the option to surrender rather than die. In the seventh round Hades shocks everyone with his decision and Qin Shi Huang…well he just wants to see his gods branded as his property.
