Summary
After being fired from the LAFD, Buck can see only one way to regain his job as a firefighter: get himself hired at station 118 - the only fire station in the world crewed entirely by ghosts. Little does he know that one of those ghosts is an El Llorón, a parent in perpetual mourning. Eddie Diaz has lost several generations of his family since the time of his death, and now only one orphaned little great-grandson remains. Can Buck reunite them?

Summary
Eddie has always wanted a romcom relationship. That moment you lock eyes, face flustered, hands shaking, and just know you've found the one. Well what would that truly look like for him, would he be so deep in love, no words would be exchanged. Or would this person truly understand him without saying a single thing. Never did Eddie imagine he'd meet his dream man in such a weird, but honestly cute, way.

“We started talking about same-sex relationships in health class today,” Christopher announces through the open door dining room door, voice grim. “About…how they have sex.”
A handful of forks fall from Eddie’s nerveless fingers and clank loudly against the sink, but not quite enough to drown out Buck’s reflexive, “Oh shit,” as he hides his face in the fridge.
Chris continues as if he didn’t hear anything. “I’m only one of two kids in my class with two dads, and Mrs. Pruitt couldn’t answer all of the questions, and Mackenzie said there was no way her dads would answer any of them, so everyone wants me to ask you guys.” The unstated And honestly I would rather die echoes loudly through the house.
Or maybe that’s just Eddie’s inner voice shouting it.

“So, uh, you come here often?”
“Do I come here often?” Buck repeats slowly. He does come here often. As does Eddie. They both come here all the time, at the same time, together.
Or, why ask someone out on a date when you can just take them on one without their knowledge? Sounds flawless to Eddie.
