    “You mean about how you slit my throat? Or the way you act towards me in general?” Tim clarifies, tilting his head a little.

    “All of it. I, I wanted to ask if you could maybe forgive me for it. I feel really bad about it, Tim.”

    Tim can’t help it. He laughs, loud and cruel. “You feel bad about it, huh?”

    Jason looks at him warily and nods, slow and careful.

    “You feel bad. Wow. How the fuck do you think I feel about it, Jason?”

     

    Or: basically Tim crashing out at the batfam, with varying results.

    After the deaths of his parents, Tim decides to use his dead uncle's idendtity for his "fake uncle" plot.

    Little does he know, his dad years ago found out his brother is Green Lantern and decided to legally keep him dead, and bury his own last name, taking Janet's. Tim, few months into his isolation, ends up finding out his mysterious and DEAD uncle hal, is Hal Jordan.

    Green Lantern.

    And is most for sure alive. And wanting to take up a part in his nephew's life. Tim struggles with balancing the lies of not telling the Bat's about the uncle situation and now it being Green Lantern, while also not telling Uncle Hal he's Robin.

    By the time batman returns, he’s down a spleen, and up a prescription from a psychiatrist. No one in his life knows either of these things, but it’s not like he’s actively trying to hide it… he’s just… not telling anyone.

    He has a plan. Tim always has a plan. That plan happens to be turned on it's head by Kon. Because, of course, Tim manages to paint himself into a corner. Instead of dying, Tim is now faking his death and moving to Michigan. Whoops!
