Summary
Where Zandik had stumbled, Dottore played perfectly. It is, technically, a superior performance. Where age had stiffened Zandik's fingers and stolen the fluid ease of youth, Dottore played without fault. If he were a fairer man, he would have complimented Dottore, whose body has never, and never will, experience the weight of time.
Pantalone is aware of this. He is also aware that he does not care. He will admit, nostalgia does make him a little biased, and Pantalone finds that he still prefers Zandik's playing. He's certain that he always will.

Summary
It was widely known how much Pantalone detested traveling out of Snezhnaya, and field work in general. A trusted subordinate would have sufficed. It wasn't as though Pantalone was particularly free, he never was, and never had been. Yet, he had tagged along for Sumeru like a dog on a leash.

Summary
Dottore smiles sheepishly as he places his gloved hand on your palm.
“Forgive me for how long it took me to say this, but I love you.”
He must be getting desperate.
Your heart does a little jump, but that's all.
Silence.
You expected anger, for the frustration and blame accumulated over the years to explode. It doesn't. And all you feel is a weird sense of sorrow.

Summary
"Do you need help?” The Salesman offered, glancing at your quivering hands. Fingers hovering above the trigger, but never making the move to pull it. You moved the gun away from your head, almost letting out a sigh of relief. You made the move to pass it to him, flinching when he takes your hand into his, thumb brushing over your palm.
“You're scared,” he comments, prying the gun from your fingers.
“Don't be.”
He drops your hand, it hits the table with a soft thud. The Salesman smiles, pointing the gun at your temple. You close your eyes, features softening with an exhale. You did not breathe in after that, holding your breath from the anticipation.
You were scared.

Being Dottore's assistant and all the segments agree that you are expendable. Except... maybe they aren't being entirely honest when they say that.

Summary
The Tsaritsa adorned her palace halls with paint and canvas, a collection built up over centuries, images personally commissioned from her favorite artists each era.
The hall to the throne featured only the absolute best, and she had decided it was time to feature a new collection. A complete set of portraits in the likeness of her Fatui Harbingers. That was the task put upon the newest in line of the crown’s artists.
Meeting her majesty’s standards was easy enough, at least when compared to wrangling the leaders of The Fatui into sitting down to paint. Especially when some are far less cooperative than others. And certain doctors are terrible at staying seated… Thankfully, the artist has always enjoyed pretty subjects, even if they're quite finicky.Bookmarked by Arsll

Summary
Pantalone scoffs. "What's your favorite part then, hmm?"
"When Vodyanitsa's character dies, of course."
"Ah. Naturally."
It is truly a shame that Pierro had the foresight to order the Harbingers to be civil to one another for the duration of the show. If he hadn't, the issue of Sandrone's present company would have been dealt with by the end of the first act. "Has it ever occurred to either of you," she mutters, "that not everyone has seen this play before?"
Pantalone hums lightly. "Opera, actually."
Sandrone is going to kill him.
Alternatively: Sandrone has the misfortune of being seated next to Dottore and Pantalone at the opera. It is perhaps the most horrendous three hours of her entire career.
