Shane Hollander was boring. Or at least that is what his ex-boyfriend told him when he unceremoniously dumped him. Now, six months after the last time he spoke to Johnathon, he was finally beginning to feel alright. He had a good job, a good side-hustle, good friends and (most importantly) good health. He didn't have to deal with Johnathon's mess left lying around his house, nor did he have to put up with his boyfriend's creepy preoccupation with another man.

On Geonosis, Anakin makes his choice.
It isn’t Obi-Wan.
As Obi-Wan recovers in the Temple and struggles to adapt to the loss of his arm, Anakin attempts to make amends in the only ways he knows how.
Obi-Wan, ever the model Jedi, insists nothing has changed. After all, Obi-Wan is still his Master. And Masters need to be dependable for their Padawans–nothing more, nothing less.
The Force, however, seems intent on proving otherwise.
Or: Obi-Wan loses an arm. Who better than Anakin to take care of both his Master and his new mechno-arm? Against Obi-wan’s carefully cultivated detachment, he learns to rely on Anakin in more ways than one. The whole timeline shifts as a result.

Or so they believed until Obi-Wan mated with the protégé of the current Sith Lord, Darth Vader, who has shown to have an obsession with the omega. So much so that he is willing to follow the Jedi's dogmas in order to be by his omega's side.

Obi-Wan lowered his eyes to the cup in front of him, half-empty and cold. An uncomfortable, heavy silence fell between them. When he was a Padawan, he and his master could sit like that for hours, without speaking. Silence was comfortable, routine. Oh yes, it was nice to understand a person without speaking, to discern subtle changes in his attitude in the midst of a room full of strangers, or to anticipate each other’s thoughts.
“I’m wondering what could have happened to us, to be incapable of a simple conversation” regret Qui-Gon.
That was the last straw. Obi-Wan’s typical sarcasm came out, with a certain glint of defiance deep in his stormy eyes.
“You can only blame yourself.”
“What do you mean?”
“You are the only one responsible. It’s your fault if we’re here now.”
OR:
Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon meet again after ten years of silences and avoidance. Obi-Wan is mad at Qui-Gon, Qui-Gon has no idea, Anakin is happy to see his brother, Ahsoka has a new friend and Cody is desperate. Oh, and Obi-Wan has a new padawan.

Tensions rise before the most important missions of their lives as Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon struggle to understand each other. The tension eventually turns out to be Force-sent, when it leads to Obi-Wan saving his master after that fateful encounter with Darth Maul.
Years have since passed and Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan have been estranged since the former nearly died in battle against a Sith lord on Naboo, for reasons Qui-Gon cannot understand.
With his new apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, occupying his time and attention, Qui-Gon is determined to get to the bottom of his former padawan's reluctance to even be in the same room as him. He will find out just what happened on that day three years ago, when he almost met the Force before his time.
Cue the stupidest Jedi in history trying to court the other stupidest Jedi in history without realizing it.
Will they finally get their heads out of their asses in order to truly understand the other and finally get what they both want?
Or is reconciliation really out of reach?
