“Bee.” Andrew says, and Bee hums on the other line as Andrew figures out how to word this. “I think I asked Neil to marry me, and I don’t think he understood that’s what I was asking.” Andrew says, and Bee is quiet for a minute before finally replying.
“First of all, Andrew, I am so proud of you.” Bee says, emotions obvious in her voice. “I wasn’t sure you two were planning to go that route or not. You have come so incredibly far.” She says, and Andrew scoffs.
“Bee, get to second of all.” Andrew mumbles, and Bee laughs.

“And why do you think he didn’t understand that you were asking him?”
“Have you met him?” Andrew asks, and Bee laughs, but she tries to cover it up.
“I have, and I see your point.”
OR
Andrew proposes to Neil, but has no idea if Neil actually understands that's what happened or if he thought they were just having a conversation.

“It was too much.” Andrew says, and Neil doesn’t understand what he’s talking about.
“We don’t have to do it again. You know I don’t care what we do or even if we do anything at all. You don’t have to do anything you aren’t comfortable doing.” Neil says, assuming that the fact that it was more than usual was bothering Andrew.
“No, idiot.” Andrew says, finally looking over at Neil, an unreadable, new expression on his face. “You. It was too much for you.” Andrew finally says, and Neil’s eyebrows shoot up at that statement.

Neil shifts in his sleep, leaning back into Kevin’s chest, and Kevin mutters something, obviously still asleep, and Andrew can’t get enough of how right they look. They look perfect for each other, they look like they should be together, alone, without Andrew’s spectating.
That was a big fear of Andrew’s when they first started this thing, he was terrified that Neil would find Kevin’s openness to affection and touch more appealing to Andrew’s hesitancy and constant need for consent, but they’re six months into this, and Neil doesn’t seem to be pulling away from Andrew. He actually seems closer with Andrew, which he doesn’t understand. Kevin’s perfect for Neil, why does Neil still want Andrew?

Andrew see how Neil and Kevin are much more willing to touch and speak their feelings, and he feels like he is intruding on their relationship even though it's his too.

"You sound more worried about your season than your relationship," Jeremy teased. Everyone else listening knew Kevin was, in fact, more worried about their games than his marriage.
"Obviously. She could have dropped this on me in the off-season when we had time to deal with it. Why would she do this to me now? Coach has already noticed the change on the court, how would I explain this?"
"Easy," Jean cut in, voice irritated or distracted, it was hard to tell even after all these years. "Just do what she asked."
Kevin's face distorted in a way only Jean could elicit. "She didn't ask me to do anything."
"Are you saying you know Thea more than her husband does?" Jeremy tried again to keep the mood light, but Kevin needled at Jean as sharply as Jean did Kevin.
"No, I'm saying I know Kevin better than he knows himself. She said to get fucked, and that's what you need. You don't even realize you want it to be Jeremy, but I think any one of us would do."

“How many dates is this?” Verity asks, idly. “At some point, don’t you have to start wondering if he’s the problem, not the dates.”
“Thank you for your input, Vee,” Mobius sighs. “Don’t you have some tables to check up on? Or...”
He loses his train of thought as the man at the table leans forward languidly like a cat, resting his elbows on the table and gifting his current date with a Cheshire smile. A finger decorated with two thin gold rings above the middle knuckle traces around the edge of the highball glass suggestively and a lock of raven’s wing black hair falls out of his stylishly messy top knot and across his face.
Mobius wonders why someone like that feels the need to work so hard for attention, but the guy in the polo shirt with the perfect teeth sitting across from him barely seems to appreciate it so maybe that’s why. Mobius sure as hell is having a hard time looking away. The slit in that skirt is probably going to kill him before the night is over.
OR
Mobius works at the bar that Loki brings all his first dates to. None of them go well. Maybe someone needs a shoulder to cry on?
