Zanka's getting real sick of Jabber having the upper hand. No matter the occasion, no matter what area, the Raider always seemed to be one step ahead. And it seemed like it was going to stay that way.
At least, until a strange encounter reveals one of Jabber's potential weaknesses. Gentle affection.
This was Zanka's chance. He could finally get one over on Jabber. If it weren't for one tiny problem. Zanka's own weakness: these strange, soft feelings he's been having for Jabber.
But it's fine. All he has to do is suppress them, squish them down. Out of sight, out of mind. He was going to get a win against Jabber, a win that counted.
You see, in spite of everything, Zanka hasn't exactly learned to stop being arrogant.
It'd be fine. He can do this. Jabber won't ever have to know about these feelings.

Not buying a word Cipher says, Castorice shakes her head and gives Cipher a knowing look. There’s no doubt the thief has already looted some pockets and gotten into trouble. Cipher was good at getting away with things, but that didn’t mean she was free from questioning. “Let me see your pockets then.” Castorice interrogates.
At that, Cipher’s grin widens, already thinking of the perfect response. “You’re free to do a body search on me if that’s what you’re asking.”

Flowers, to be more precise.
An incredibly large, almost comically large, bouquet had manifested in front of him. Pink gladiolus, their ombre petals creating a cascade of sunset rose. It was a stunning arrangement. So much so that it took Mydei more than a moment to notice the pair of hands holding the base, and the artfully disheveled mop of snowy hair poking out from behind the bouquet.
Mnestia's feast day descends upon Okhema, and gifts are given.
