Summary
This is the various conlang dialogue I translated for HBO's House of the Dragon. The main language featured in the show is High Valyrian. The High Valyrian language is technically an a posteriori artlang based on words and ideas that come from George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, but the language is probably better understood as a priori with some input from a second author.

"Soon there won't be a single living dragon left. Not in the whole world. People will hear about them only in tales."
All our fault?
It's Aemond's fault. Overwhelmingly so. Luke has to know that, meaning he's either being generous or underhanded. (But Luke has got to be one of the most unsubtle people Aemond has ever known.)
In which those who've died on dragonback are cursed/blessed to wander the world in a strange sort of limbo state, with only their dragons, and each other, for company.

That is to say, in the pursuit of knowledge, scientists can do some really fudging dumb things.
The scientist in question? Doctor Captain Ryland Grace. The research design? Experimental. The line of inquiry? Whether the multibillion-dollar extensive healthcare system—a glorified nanny bot, really—aboard a spaceship hurtling into deep space could serve as a substitute for human touch. That is to say, a substitute for human touch in the interest of touch starvation… as a, uh, secondary objective. Because the primary objective involves… er… usecaseinsexualendeavors.
Ergo: Grace wants to turn Armando into a fuck machine.
Or: Grace and Rocky struggle with intimacy due to biological constraints. So, they decide to use Armando as a way to bridge the gap. However, when it comes to these two, things don't always go according to plan.

“I didn’t … we didn’t do that,” Dunk said. Aerion’s eyes burrowed into his, dark once again. “You talked of duty,” he said. “I know what kind of duty my brother asks for.”
“The same you do?” Dunk replied, feeling sparks of anger ignite inside himself, Aerion’s flame setting him on fire too. Aerion’s eyes narrowed. “I am a Kingsguard,” Dunk went on. “I serve when I am asked to.” “He should not have asked,” Aerion growled.
“You ask,” Dunk said. “You ask almost every damned night.” Just not me, he thought.
When the royal blood calls, the Kingsguard serve. If only Aerion would ask Dunk to serve.
