What if Padmé's life was being pulled by the Force into becoming one with it?
Now Anakin is sired by the Force.
He's the closest thing to the Force in Human Form.I believe that Anakin, the Chosen One is uniquely positioned to save the one he loves.
So instead of being One with the Force,
Padmé became one with its Son.And they'd be one together forever.

Peeta caved, curling into himself. “I’m sorry,” he sobbed. Katniss was quick to wrap him in her arms, trying to hold him as close as possible. “I’m sorry.”
She felt her own eyes growing wet. “What are you sorry about?”
He shook his head against her. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry.”
OR: Katniss was actually pregnant during the Quarter Quell. Peeta is taken by the Capital for much longer.
