One lazy summer afternoon, Brian's longtime family Meowscarada decides it's time to cross a line they've both been circling for years.
"You're staring," he complained.
The Pokemon's floppy ears twitched and she let out a low, purring trill. A second later one of her paws reached up to rest against her cheek. She openly gazed at him.
Brian's stomach twisted and he looked back to the television. Which is to say, he barely noticed what was happening on it. He wasn't supposed to be this distracted by the cat, wasn't supposed to be getting any of the ideas he was getting. He'd always been the smart and responsible one. Still, every neuron in his brain was fixated on the fact that Meowscarada was barely four feet away and watching him like he was the most interesting thing in the room.

After Cyrus died, the region of Sinnoh was allowed three years of peace. However, a trio of cults have formed in his wake to terrorize the region, threatening to tear it apart far worse than previously ever imagined. Backed by the powers of Creation, these cults would seek to turn the world into their battlefield to settle years of bad blood and petty family drama.
Trapped in the middle of all of this is a revenge-seeking misanthrope in his early 20s and the goddess of creation in disguise, an unlikely alliance and memories of a love once had binding them together. However, everyone will soon find that the threats to this world are far deeper and far more vengeful than anyone could have ever expected…
