    Ever so gently, Thranduil laid Legolas down where his mommy used to rest, and for another hour or so he just knelt on the floor beside him and watched him sleep. Shrouded by the darkness and the blissful unknowing of his boy, he entertained his greatest fear. There had to be a plan in place so that day would never come.
