Right after Amara gave Dean his mother as a gift, Chuck decided to give a present of his own to his family. He chose to bring back an archangel, to guide the angels and unite them, to teach them how to love humanity and to rule Heaven in a fair way.
He never considered the possibility of Gabriel refusing his task. But, Gabriel being Gabriel, all he cared about was going back to Earth.

The curse is out of Sam’s system, thanks to Gabriel’s help, and they have returned to their lives as if nothing had happened. But the tension between them is almost tangible—They keep avoiding each other, leave the room when the other enters, find any excuse to not be in the same room or hunt alone… It seems like everything will go downhill from that point if they don’t put a stop to it, so will they finally admit their feelings?
