“Have you argued with me?”
“Not significantly.”
“But we don’t- I mean, we talk.” He looked at the journal. “We talk a lot, for someone who says he doesn’t talk.”
“I said the compound discrepancy was not meaningful,” Sasuke said, “which is correct.”

Sasuke swallows. Those dark lashes drop, his attention falling to Naruto’s mouth. Naruto smiles in reply, but he feels predatory more than playful now. Can’t help it. He has been chasing Sasuke for so long that it’s second nature. To bring him down, down to his level, and heel him with teeth and a strong hand.
