Loss is a terrible thing, isn't it ? A permanent reminder and a reason on why many inphernals grief heavily, some move on and some don't.
It's permanent, yes, but inphernals move on. Accept, and continue their life without them, It's a bittersweet reality.
What if, instead of loss, it's change ? . . Change about the inphernal they once knew. Something that doesn't even give you the same feeling you are once with them.
It's worse, so much worse, It's a grief where you can't move on. The mindset of there will always be a slint of hope they will come back, even if it's futile—A fate that they can't change no matter how they hope it will.
Grief turns inphernals dangerous, grief cause desperation, Desperation causes inphernals to go extreme length to see the inphernal they used to know.
Now, Coil, alongside with Boombox and Slingshot have to experienced the forced change of the Skater they oh so adore. Desperation and grief eating them alive.
Hoping, just hoping. That the 'biograft' will magically turn back into their dear friend Skateboard.
