She did not hesitate in her quick step, although she dreaded each one she took. Dawdling would only make it worse. Other servants were rushing to and fro, frantically lighting candles on the walls. Temari could hear the sound of her father’s voice echoing from the living room as she descended the stairs from the second floor.

I am writing these characters from an aged-up perspective. They are portrayed as older adolescents, even though they are younger in the original storyline. Also, if you’ve watched The Vampire Diaries, Riverdale, or Teen Wolf, then you understand how teen relationships are portrayed. So let’s not make this a debate.

Shikamaru and Temari will be the main relationship; however, I will also develop and showcase other relationships. I plan for the story to reach a minimum of 100,000 words, and I will update it as I go. For now, the story begins one month before Hinata and Naruto’s wedding.
Temari will be stationed in Konoha permanently as a diplomat for the Sand Village. She begins forming friendships with Hinata, Sakura, and Ino, and her relationship with Shikamaru gradually develops.
Please note that I will try to keep this accurate to canon, though I will take some liberties with the plot and smut. For example, all relationships among the main cast (except Hinata’s) are still developing.
