Deku gave up on his hero dream, but he doesn’t really know what to do with his life now. He doesn’t really see a future as a nurse or a police officer.
But a stroke of luck came to him when he enters a competition. An essay competition to win a prize from a well-known journalist. The prize is apparently an apprenticeship to travel and write stories about topics around the world outside of Japan.
