“A walk!? We had to fight for our lives—!” One of the younger faces in the back shouted overhead, causing the captain of the small party to turn and grasp his jawline to see him silenced.
“Hold your tongue!” The order came out hoarse, leading to the man coughing as he tore the stretched and deformed fabric of his hitatare. The cloak that had been draped over before was missing, with the red marks around the man’s neck leaving Sukuna to believe it had been torn off rather violently. “I beg for your forgiveness, Sukuna-sama. We were blindsided and ill-equipped to deal with… that.”

Sukuna stays silent, just watching the boy. He takes a step closer, reaching down to grab his jaw and take in his features closely, head tilting side to side with cheeks squished.
“I have sired no children so you are not a descendent of mine. But a relative no less it seems. Tell me about the Itadoris.”
Yuuji shuffles on his feet, having already tried to pull his face back to no avail. His words are a bit muffled as he speaks.
“There’s not much. We’re just a normal family. Pink hair has run in our blood since the beginning of the house but it wasn’t until I was born with these marks that people started asking questions. Nothing specific was found but I guess… you’re kind of like my uncle? But like, really old.”
Sukuna rolls his eyes at being called old, letting Yuuji go who rubs at his jaw to soothe the reddening skin.
“It’s no matter. Of what use will you be, hm?”
Or which, Sukuna meets a spitfire nephew he never knew he had and they both learn what it means to orbit.
