    Belle doesn’t understand why there’s a tight clenching sensation in her chest, a painful stabbing that twists from time to time, something so familiar and yet different from the breathlessness that had previously overcome her. She squeezes her eyes shut, grasping at furniture around her for stability. There are blurry specks in her vision and an ache in her gut that settles at the back of her mind. Something is not right, something is wrong with her that she cannot identify. And how can she mend something she cannot understand?
