Summary
In the Pack's eyes, Katsuki was a talented and promising young werewolf, favored by All Might, the Pack's Alpha himself. But, behind the curtains, Katsuki was getting worse. His inner beast was louder each day and got harder to control. He was quick to anger. He became a perfectionist. He wasn't lucky enough to be an orphan, always under pressure.
His only respite came in the form of his best friend, Deku. They were always there for each other. The only thing he needed to get over a bad day was to hear Deku’s laugh, or smell his fresh scent, or get lost in his beautiful green eyes. But for how much longer would that be enough?
Katsuki was a time-bomb, and the timer was running out.

“What the hell, Deku? I thought you’d already unlocked all your damn quirks!” He shouted into the void, blocking out the light with his forearm. Nitro-infused sweat dripped down his face, his sides, his back. A drop fell to the floor from the tip of his nose, and Katsuki swore he almost heard it. The silence was deafening.
The freckled nerd didn’t answer.
“Deku!” His heart started accelerating, the beat echoing in his eardrums, drowning out all outside sound.
Did something happen to the nerd?
Did the AP shot knock him out?
The light was still bright as hell.
“Deku, you fucker, answer me! Where are you?!”
There was a choking sound followed by a low growl. “What the hell did you call me, Kacchan?”

Biting his lip, Izuku asked, in a very quiet voice, “Kacchan, are you really fine with this?”
“With what?”
“With me. And our pup. Will you…” Izuku shook his head. “Will we be okay?”
Kacchan sighed through his nose, not so much tired but rather flabbergasted by his question. “Stupid nerd. I’m your fucking Alpha, aren't I? It's my job to make it okay.”
