Mit der Unterstützung von Leos unverwüstlicher Freundschaft traut er sich fast alles zu – auch, sich seinen eigenen Dämonen und Gefühlen für Leo endlich zu stellen. Vielleicht können sie tatsächlich zusammen glücklich werden.

Adam rechnet schon lange nicht mehr mit Kommentaren auf Fics, die er vor Jahren mal geschrieben hat, um auf gesunde Weise seine Gefühle zu verarbeiten. Aber dann stellt ein interessierter Leser die eine Frage, auf die er nie eine wahre Antwort gegeben hat.
Aber diesmal fühlt es sich richtig, den Kommentar zu beantworten und dem geheimnisvollen Leser all das zu sagen, was er sich nicht traut, seinem Partner zu offenbaren.

The public library is a lovely old building with plenty of parking and just enough space around it for some narrow lawns and a few trees. Dean’s spent plenty of time sitting outside staring at it through Baby’s windscreen, and that means he’s very familiar with the fancy yellow stonework. Today there’s something different though, a poster fills the glass of one of the front doors; bright craft paper with a really big lizard drawn on it. The lizard is actually pretty cool, all bright colors and stuff. There’s a cartoon speech bubble coming out of it’s mouth that says, “come and meet me today!”
For all the time Dean’s spent over the years, sitting in Baby and waiting on Sammy...he’s never actually been in.
Apparently today’s the day though, because if they’ve got lizards and stuff you bet your ass Dean wants to go in and have a look. Hopefully there’s snakes too.

A hidden command snaps Ianto to attention, his head craning back so he can look at Jack even from this position. None of his usual discomfort from the forced eye contact is evident in his body beyond a slight strain from the angle of his neck. “You’re distracted; let me help.”
“Got him well-trained,” Owen comments, gesturing at Ianto between them. For a split-second, Ianto looks at him, but quickly refocuses his attention on Jack. “He’s always been your errand boy.”
Jack chuckles, a familiar dark sound that rumbles in Owen’s chest. “An errand boy, not always mine. But don’t worry; I don’t expect this out of you. First of all, I don’t think I could handle both of you all the time.”
