Ashlyn threw herself off her bed ignoring the dull pain that ebbed through her hand when it hit the dresser beside her. She pulled open the curtain covering her window, a recent installment courtesy of her father.
No. That's not possible. The sky was red. But they hadn't shifted, how? Then she saw the people. Running into the streets, running out of houses only to be tackled and torn apart by the phantoms roaming around.
They weren't free. No. It had gotten so much worse. The phantom realm had bled into theirs and now? Everyone had to deal with it.
