Summary

He sighed, bending down to pick up a pile of clothes when a soft knock echoed through the room. Taehyung’s head snapped toward the door. “Come in,” he called, but no one came in.
The room stayed silent, except for the faint hum of the air conditioner.
He shrugged it off as his imagination and got back to work.
But then it came again—a louder knock, more urgent this time. Taehyung's stomach churned, a cold knot of unease forming in his chest.
The knock hadn’t come from the room door. It was coming from the bathroom door.
He slowly stood up, eyes locked on the bathroom door.
Did he share this bathroom with someone else? He couldn’t remember.
Taehyung's footsteps echoed softly as he approached the bathroom, hand trembling slightly as he reached for the doorknob.
It wasn’t locked.
With a deep breath, he turned the knob and pushed the door open, flicking on the light.
