    Summary

Some lights don't fade... they stay to burn.
Grace Swan never believed in fairy tales. Not the kind with castles, nor the kind with monsters. But Forks, with its endless rain and quiet roads, has always felt like home-a place where she could finally breathe again. Except, she comes home to more people than she remembered.
    She came home to him.
Jasper Hale is quiet. Reserved. Haunted. And he's hiding something. Something not even his golden eyes or Southern charm can bury forever. But Grace isn't afraid of his shadows. If anything, she sees through them. She brings light - sunlight - to the storm beneath his skin.
As her twin sister Bella begins to unravel the Cullen family's truth, Grace finds herself spiralling into her own. Jasper's world isn't just different-it's dangerous. Yet somehow, in his arms, it feels like safety. Like home.
Torn between the life she's always known and the eternity she never dreamed she'd want, Grace must decide: how far is she willing to go for the one person who finally makes her feel seen? And what happens when the fading of sunlight doesn't mark the end of something, but the beginning?

    Summary

Before Forks. Before the Cullens. Before the quiet life he would one day build.

Major Jasper Whitlock first met Dr. Eliza Mercer in a field hospital during the American Civil War; a surgeon with steady hands, sharp wit, and a habit of refusing to be intimidated by young officers shouting in her tent.

What began as arguments over wounded soldiers turned into late-night conversations, stolen dances, and letters carried across enemy lines.

Then the war took them in different directions.

Jasper was turned into something he did not understand. Eliza disappeared into a prison camp in the North.

    Each believed the other dead.

A century and a half later, a young doctor arrives in the small town of Forks, Washington and the past he buried long ago suddenly stands in front of him again.

    Summary

There are three things Dakota Greyson believes with absolute certainty. The first, that no matter how religious others try to make her, no amount of prayer will make money rain from the sky. The second, that imperfection can be as much a blessing as perfection can be a curse. And finally, the third, that if resurrection and/or reincarnation were plausible then surely she’d ended up somewhere better than an impoverished middle-class family in central America.

After all, what are the chances of waking in a stranger’s body? A teenager’s body? Of finding herself somewhere more outlandish than her grandmother’s humble abode? Of discovering a town so saturated in trauma that her own suddenly feels like nothing more than mediocre misery.

Accepting the change had been a hard pill to swallow. A truth she hadn’t wanted to accept. Life, however, is a cancer. It doesn’t give you the decency of time. It rips the curtain back before you’ve finished dressing, it tosses obstacles with spikes at you with a laugh, it finds entertainment in hardships and heartbreak. It strips you of your identity and leave you with a new one.
