Summary
Derek flies off the handle at Stiles after Scott's betrayal, only to realize that Stiles is both injured and looking to check on how he is doing. They don't have a chance to reconcile as they are both captured by hunters working under Gerard. They turn the alpha feral in order to get him to kill Stiles but something different happens instead, leaving the two boys to work out their feelings and issues while recovering from the encounter and trying to rebuild the Hale pack.

Summary
Stiles left Beacon Hills, after everything that happened there and the people he almost lost because of what happened every other week he finds that the Supernatural World truly is much more than Deaton tried to tell him. He finds someone to teach him which enteres him into the community, properly this time around. Between college and magic lessons, he's making friends, allies and adversaries all around, gaining knowledge, favors and managing his abilities. But as always, he is good at what he does and strong enough that he gains a name for himself. Enter Derek, Cora and Peter who leave Beacon Hills after one too many clashes with Scott and the monster of the week, accompanied by the decline of their territory or what had been Hale territory for so long. Hearing about a Spark that might be able to help, none of them believed to run into Stiles while there.

Derek walked in.
He looked tired, his jawline still infuriatingly sharp, carved from the same mountain stone his ancestors had probably been hewn from. His eyes, those impossible emerald eyes that had haunted my dreams for years, looked hollow in a way I'd never seen before. There were shadows under them that spoke of sleepless nights, of a man who had been running on empty for far too long.

He hesitated for a few moments before slowly placing his hand on his hair. Tanjiro seemed to melt at this movement. Then Giyuu tenderly stroked his head, running his fingers through the boy's red curls.

Omegas were well known for their patient, caring nature. They were sensitive souls— but that’s not to say they were weak. No, omegas were terrifying, especially when their pups were in danger.
Shinazugawa’s blade dug through the box, stabbing into the demon, and the high-pitched wail that rang through the garden was unbearable.
A pup was crying. Two pups were crying: Tanjiro and whatever was in that box.
When a pup cried like this, usually their parents came running, no matter how far away they were. It was a cry for help, only used when in severe distress or danger.
And for a second, nothing happened.
Then all hell broke loose.
Shinazugawa was sent flying, everyone else had fallen over in the process of whoever-it-was that’d rushed over. The box that contained the demon was placed down in front of that Kamado kid. The boy wrapped himself around it, protecting it with his own body as he sobbed.
As their daze cleared, they all realized that it had been Tomioka to rush to the kid’s aid, reeking of distressed, enraged omega.
But that didn’t make sense. Tomioka was a beta. Right?
To say that they were confused was an understatement.

"Derek literally bit you last month," Lydia pointed out.
"That was a love bite! In werewolf culture, that's basically a marriage proposal!"
"Stiles, it was on your ankle."
"It was symbolic!"

Summary
Derek walks up to the little shop on the corner. It’s far more…cheery than he thought a witch’s apothecary would be. More like a green house. The walls are almost entirely glass—a stark contrast to the brick storefronts lining the street—and give full view of the plants bursting with life inside. The place is so packed with greenery that you can’t actually see anything else in the shop. It even spills out to the sidewalk, with lush ferns and brightly flowering bushes taking up half the space. Even the wooden sign hanging over the doorway has a blossoming clematis vine wrapped around it and covering half the words. The part of it he can read says Godzina in fine purple script. The peculiarity of the name is the only identifier that this is the place Deaton was asking him to go to. Knowing the older witch and how he liked to keep things under wraps, Derek is beginning to understand why he didn’t want to come himself.
