Rhaenyra is unsure if it is herself or Daemon who has spoken. All she knows is that Criston pauses, his hand on the doorframe.
“Stay,” she says, the word spilling all-too-quickly from her lips. “If—if you would like.”
Criston’s fingers tighten on the doorframe. “For what purpose?”
“Don’t you want to see what the Princess’s face looks like when she’s coming around a cock?” Daemon cuts in, a smirk in his voice. “There’s nothing else like it.”
“I have sworn a vow of chastity,” Criston says. He sounds pained. But he has turned around to face them again. His eyes are dark. Even from feet away, Rhaenyra can tell that his pupils are blown wide.
“You don’t have to fuck her,” says Daemon. “That’s for me.”
