Summary
Stephanie Barnes is an overworked, single mother and the head of philanthropy for Stark Industries. Once upon a time, she was Captain America, and her stress came from fighting Nazis. Now, her stress comes from quarterly budget predictions, organizing fundraising benefits, and raising her son as best she can in her husband's memory. With haranguing from her friend, Toni Stark, Stephanie decides to take her mandated vacation days and go to Washington D.C. to see friends and visit museums. Every possible thing that could go wrong on this vacation does go wrong, and Stephanie is left fighting for her life, facing enemies she thought she left in history. A mysterious assassin is making Stephanie feel things she hasn't felt since the death of her husband, which is quite inconvenient because he's trying to kill her.
Stephanie will have to shatter the false security and misplaced optimism of the future and force everyone, including herself, to confront bitter, painful reality. And then, she will have to help rebuild.

Summary
Nat Romanoff hated their job to select a group of extraordinary people for the Avengers Initiative because the specifications were impossible. This is what they had: Toni Stark, the Iron Maiden, a brilliant firecracker with a guilt complex. Not recommended. Bertie Banner, the Hulk, brains and brawn, but never both at once. Not recommended. Thordis Odinsdottir, an alien princess/goddess, and pacifist powerhouse. Not recommended. Captain Stephanie Barnes, the super-soldier from WWII, now a super-mother. Not recommended.
But when an alien calling himself Loki shows up and brainwashes Claire Barton, the deaf archer who saved Nat's life all those years ago, recommendations may not be as important as they once were. Maybe, the group can even save the world, if they can get along.

Summary
The Sequel to "The Star-Spangled Gal" continuing the adventures of Stephanie Barnes her everlasting efforts to find a safe life for her family. Covering the events of "Black Panther" and "Infinity War," the end of the "Civil War" led to Stephanie fleeing with Bucky to Wakanda where they are protected by King T'Challa. Now living as a refugee and international fugitive with a baby son to consider, Stephanie must be extra careful with her choices and must constantly decide between what is safe and what is right. This is only made more difficult as her family's safety is threatened by the regime of a new king, and the looming threat from the stars above.
