Summary
Jotaro Kujo & Noriaki Kakyoin have been inseparable since childhood—the quiet, meticulous boy who catalogued insects in the schoolyard, and the fierce kid who fought anyone who tried to bother him. Their friendship survived scraped knees, awkward family dinners, and everything adolescence threw at them. But college was supposed to be a fresh start, not the beginning of the end.
Jotaro finds an easy belonging in a world of house parties, late nights, and a reputation that precedes him—the guy you don't mess with, the guy everyone wants at their function.
Kakyoin finds none of that. Fluorescent lecture halls, group projects that fall apart around him, and parties he's never invited to leave him feeling like a satellite orbiting a life that no longer has room for him. He tells himself it's fine. It's not fine.

In a period of 50 days, Jotaro struggles against himself, makes a new friend, and falls in love.
The new transfer student, Kakyoin, brought drama to a school starving for it. His arrival put new targets on his back and girls fawning over his red hair, but beyond all that he made Jotaro feel strange. After all, photographic memory and an overwhelming acuteness for precision weren't things that popped up naturally out of nowhere. Kakyoin's ghost probably had something to do with it and nothing to do with Jotaro understanding how the girls felt.
