Maybe he could just rub one out and go home. He needed something tonight. And he still had the room until midnight. And he sure as hell wouldn’t have any free time in the playoffs. Just as Shane was beginning to untie his drawstrings the door swung open. He stilled eyes darting to the door. In walked, what Shane could only describe as, the most attractive man he had ever laid his eyes on.
The first thing Shane noticed was his height, the man was tall. The second was his arms he was extremely built, like a fucking greek god. It was rare to find a man as burly as this one In a strip club. He had soft golden curls and freckles and moles everywhere. Which shouldn’t have made Shane’s hard on worse - but it did.
The man avoided eye contact and slowly walked up to the pole in the middle of the room. Shane was still. Only his eyes moving. Tracking the god of a man like a sniper. He held his breath, the tension palpable in the room. Shane watched as he began to slowly dance on the pole. He wasn’t doing insane tricks or even really using it other than to push himself off as he sensually danced for Shane.--------

Summary
After ten years in Stillwater for a crime she didn't commit, Vi breaks herself out and goes home. Her homecoming doesn't go like she thought it would.
Two years later, she's out of control and out on the streets. She's now a champion pitfighter, a raging alcoholic, and completely on her own. Despite her family's best (and desperate) efforts to help, Vi's on a one-way track to ending up either dead or back in prison.
At the same time, Caitlyn arrives in the undercity to collect data and information for her thesis. She starts her research from a local bar called The Last Drop, which puts her right into Vi's path. Vi might have been out of her family's home for years, but she's still not going to let a topsider put them in danger.
Canon divergence (everyone lives!), enemies to lovers (barely, the lovers aspect happens fast), angst, trauma, addiction, and also fluff and humour (because these things can co-exist!)
