Summary
In the end, though, Nico ends up proving the very theory Percy had abandoned: that car crashes cannot be duplicated. There is something more delicate about the car-crash-named-Nico now, more deliberate, more like a longer climb to the peak of a broken rollercoaster than the simple hit-and-run from last time. Percy knows exactly how this is going to end, has always known, but basic human logic doesn't stop him from letting Nico do whatever he wants to him.

Or, a year after Nico cut off all contact with Percy after cheating with him on his boyfriend, they meet again in a coffee shop. It goes as well as anyone hopes, which is to say, it doesn't go well at all.
