Shouta Aizawa thinks there’s something off about Midoriya Izuku. He’s been thinking that since he saw the boy in his classroom, hunched over a seat, making himself as small as possible. Elbows tucked in close, calloused knuckles, and darting eyes.A crooked nose, the kind of odd, subtle little twist that gives the boy’s large green eyes a quirky flare. The kind of nose that was broken one too many times and hadn’t been set properly often enough.
That was not the behavior of someone with a ridiculously overpowered Quirk. That was especially not the behavior he’d seen during the exam footage, the footage of a green-haired teenager who was flashy and open and seemed to radiate power.
Illogical.

Or: Midoriya gets into vigilantism a little too early, with a Quirk more like his uncle's than his father's, and, frankly, half the time he's just along for the ride.

Summary
In some universes, Izuku Midoriya's dream came true when All Might gave him One for All. He was finally on a level playing field with everyone else, and he ran forward into the future without looking back, aiming to become the next Symbol of Peace. This was not one of those universes.
In other universes, Izuku Midoriya was never given One for All. Maybe he never encountered the sludge villain a second time. Maybe All Might didn't track him down afterward. Whatever the cause, Izuku Midoriya remained quirkless. In some of those universes, he became a villain, disenfranchised with the society that had always beat him down. While those universes were closer to this one, this was not one of them either.
In this universe, Izuku Midoriya still received One for All, but he never forgot what it meant to be quirkless. He never forgot the way that those who were deemed "lesser" were treated. Izuku Midoriya was made to help people. When he realized that the heroes he'd admired for his entire life would never help people like him, not if it meant giving up their power, well...
The road to Hell was paved with good intentions. At least Izuku wasn't walking it alone.

Summary
Every day is the same old, boring day. I wake up, feel like crap, get dressed, get belittled by my sister for being weak and quirkless, get abused and neglected by my sperm donor and mother respectively, go to Hel- Aldera (My junior high), get bullied and harassed by my classmates (my sister included) while the teachers don't give a shit or join in, feel like a corpse after it all, get told off by Bakugo and his cronies like usual, get my shit, go home, sleep without eating or bandaging my injuries.
I hate it. And after All Might told me straight to my face that I couldn't be a hero. I just gave up, plain and simple. There is no point trying to be a hero. Much less a quirkless hero. I honestly don't remember what I saw in them that made me want to be them. But just because I gave up on that dream doesn't mean... Actually, on second thought, maybe I'll take Katsuki's advice...

Summary
Growing up quirkless was basically a death sentence, at the very least it wasn't going to lead to a pretty life. That was what was expected when he was diagnosed as Quirkless at four years old. Thirteen years later was when everything changed, when All Might told him those fateful words, that he could be a hero.
However the true start of his journey was a year later, when an eighteen year old Izuku Midoriya awakened his true quirk, the one he didn't think he had. That was when life truly changed, or perhaps when it truly began, with untold power at his fingertips, and the desire to be less selfless and more selfish growing the more he used it. It started as a mere accident, but things rarely stayed accidental in the world of quirks.
He would change, things would be different, and when the world is in your grasp? Well, it's hard not to take the plunge.

All Might has retired, the world is in chaos, things don’t seem to be looking bright as criminal activity is on the rise.
Izuku’s torn between being the symbol that people need and being the hero who he wants to be.
Enji rises to the Top Pro-Hero, but it doesn’t feel like he deserves it.
Class 1-A is just barely getting their heads around the fact their classmate was a Pro-Hero who died years ago, let’s not even start on all the villains that attacked their class. Or the fact that Midoriya adopted them.
