Summary
It’s late, the bed of the hotel is not comforting. There’s something about meetings that makes England's whole body vibrate. It’s like a mind of its own, it knows that there are too many countries in one place, like a huge fight could go off any minute. Even when he’s alone in a bed it could just explode. England shuts his eyes before an idea pops in his mind. Standing up he grabs his jacket, it’s late but not too late.
Back home he’s gotten into this nasty habit. Going to bars and pretending to be human, making friends, coming up with a fake life and job far away from being a country. It’s to blow off steam
----------
Englands way of blowing off steam is pretending to be a human and going out, France just happens to find himself walking in the right bar at the right time.

Summary
Arthur’s making is, if he’s being honest, quite slipshod. He’d had to smash the first foot back into the earth with a sickening fleshly squelch because he’d accidentally given France two left feet. As entertaining as it would have been to watch him stagger in circles as his bones recalibrated and reset into their proper positions, twisting under the skin, England needs him up and moving as soon as he comes back. And he has no doubt that if he gives Francis a leg that is slightly too short for his own amusement that the other will repay the favour with a bayonet in his tent at night.
