Summary
Eddie is just sitting there but Buck feels like he could combust at any second.
He’s lounged out on the couch, legs spread in that casual way that should be illegal, one arm draped lazily over the backrest while the other holds his book. His fingers are curled around the pages, absentmindedly brushing against them as he reads. Buck can’t focus on the book, or the way Eddie’s lips part slightly as he mouths the words, or even the gentle furrow of his brows as he concentrates.
No. His entire world has narrowed down to the glasses.
Or the "Eddie gets glasses and Buck promptly loses his mind over it" fic

Summary
“Have a great day at school, buddy. Don’t forge any sick notes for a while, your dad’s going to be suspicious of you now. Love, Buck.”
He slips it in the packed lunch he put away for Chris in the fridge, and then pauses. He pushes the fridge door wider, and smiles. Grabs the pen, writes another note. Satisfied, he tucks it into another packed lunch, and heads back to the living room.
***
Buck starts leaving notes for Eddie. Eddie writes notes for Buck right back. They were always going to end up writing their own love story.

Summary
Buck thinks about Eddie laughing, his pink, rosy cheeks lighting up his amber brown eyes, and walks out of his apartment, jogging down the stairs, opening his car door. His hands are still shaking when he turns the key in the ignition, but he’s turning the corner and driving down the street and singing along to the radio and grinning the whole time because –
Because he’s got a date with Eddie Diaz.
***
Buck and Eddie find out their first date is slightly more awkward than they thought it would be. Good thing they're both desperately and hopelessly in love with each other.

Summary
Buck looks up, pouting. “You didn’t eat breakfast,” he laments, and Eddie raises the apple and coffee. It brings a scowl to Buck’s face instantly, like Eddie knew it would. “Bobby would be so disappointed in you,” Buck says, shaking his head, and Eddie takes the time to kiss Buck soundly, a little lick to his bottom lip that he can get away with before Chris starts gagging at the kitchen table.
“You’re gonna be so late, Dad,” Chris reminds them, his cereal balanced precariously on his spoon. Amelia copies him with her own tiny spoon, and she furrows her brow as she focuses, her light brown hair a mop on her head since no one’s brushed it out yet. Eddie reaches over to kiss his kids’ heads and races to work.
“I love you!” Eddie calls out, and there are three voices all chiming back.
“Love you more,” Eddie hears as he locks the front door behind him, and he drives to work and thinks - not possible, not possible, have you seen inside my heart? Not possible, not possible -

Their son is going away to college. Their daughter is having trouble sleeping. Buck and Eddie figure out their little family, with help along the way.

Summary
Look, Ravi’s heard everything there is to hear, okay? A shift is… something. When he first joined the 118, it was told to him like a joke, like a curse. "Oh, be careful if you get assigned A shift! You’ll get rebar through the head, or trapped down a well! Haha!"
Well. It wasn’t really a joke to Ravi, not really. Not now. Not when he got close to the team, when they went from strangers to colleagues to just… more. When it became looking at baby pictures and talking about college funds and asking about how his parents are doing and if they’re still planning to come visit for his birthday and –
Yeah. Ravi's glad he got mixed up in this weird little group.
But the curse, well. The others weren’t exactly wrong about that part. And maybe Ravi was a little naïve to think it wouldn’t catch up to him eventually, sure. But –
“Ravi!” Bobby yelled, as Ravi gets punched in the face.
***
Ravi gains a concussion, a bunch of blankets, and a reminder about his place in the 118.
