Charlie surprises Nick at one of his rugby matches during his first semester at Leeds

When the game finally ends (with a Leeds victory!), I select one of the best photos I took of him today, then with shaking hands, I type out two sentences.
You look fit as fuck in that jersey. Wanna make out?
I hit send, then wait. I’m literally trembling from head to toe, beaming like an idiot.
I watch him and his teammates happily chatting and patting each other on the back. They make their way over to the sideline where they slowly start grabbing their phones and water bottles.
I watch Nick like a hawk, almost vibrating out of my skin at this point. I think I might actually die of anticipation.
He grabs his phone and water bottle, taking a long swig and then making some comment to the guy on his left, who laughs and claps him on the back. He smiles, then grabs his phone and starts walking toward the changing rooms, in the opposite direction from where I’m sitting. SERIOUSLY, Nick?! Without even looking at it?! I start to worry that he’s truly not even going to check it when I see him stop dead in his tracks.

Enter Fournier House Publishing company where Nick Nelson has taken over for his deceased father Stephane as the new CEO.
Charlie can’t fall for his boss who thinks he's 25, can he?!?!
This is a bit of a Younger crossover but you don’t need to have seen it in order to read on. There will be some easter eggs/fun spots for folks that are fans of both though. I’ve taken quite a bit of creative license with the way the plot and characters are different from Younger though so don’t expect this to be a shot for shot reimagining.

This aged up American AU Heartstopper is a love story–a story of love for my college town, a story about (sometimes complicated) love for rural homes, a story of falling in love, and a story that celebrates and dignifies the love of friendship and other deep, non-romantic, loves. Because when everything feels like it’s falling apart, love is what holds us together.
