Summary
“Yo, man, word on the hallways is… you went on a date! That true?!” Flambae’s voice blares through the line, loud, teasing, dramatic as hell. Even over comms, his accent is impossible to ignore.
“You jealous or something? Look, if you wanted to grab dinner all you had to do was ask,” Robert shoots back, dry as always.
“Yeah… hah. You're not my type.” Flambae sounds weirdly uncomfortable, almost embarrassed, and Robert’s eyebrows lift slightly. He’s never heard the man hesitate in his life.
“Girl, that’s the biggest lie I’ve heard!” Prism laughs before he can even respond. “You’re actually saying you’re not into a sad little twink like him?”

Summary
“We have a young girl with fire powers currently torching a cemetery. Sending you the coordinates now.”
Flambae whistles. “Damn, a cemetery? What happened to dumpsters or abandoned buildings? That’s the shit I set on fire when I was a kid.”
“Sounds like it’s grief related,” Robert tells him, clicking through the details of the mission. “The caller said the flare up seemed unintentional, probably caused by strong emotions. She was attending her step-father’s funeral when the episode started.”
“Poor fucking kid,” Flambae murmurs, sobering.

Summary
A fight with a reality bender and an overloaded Astral Pulse lands Robert and his Mechaman suit into a different universe altogether, one where his dad never died and Mechaman Astral was still in active duty.
It should be a kinder universe with one less tragedy, but it's not. Not when this universe's Robert had died young instead.
