The same nightmare of everyone being able to notice his scent despite them not yet presenting.
The same nightmare of his crush and once childhood best friend covering his nose as he sneered at him in disgust.

Izuku has struggled to make friends even before he presented as a prime omega; but after moving to the states after he presented and meeting his beta best friend, life hasn't been so bad. It had been after a long week of hardly getting sleep with the onslaught of both opening and closing shifts, his car's brakes finally caving and needing replaced, a late electrical bill that had wracked on an extra chunk of money in late fees, and another handsy Alpha that had actually managed to pull Izuku into his lap and was drunkenly palming him, that Izuku finally snapped.
And when he told his Mom, she cried and demanded to know why. He didn’t have an answer. He was just… sick of life here. Sick of the monotony, sick of the crowds, sick of… pretending.
Pretending to be happy, pretending that he liked where he was, pretending that he enjoyed the sunshine state, pretending that he didn’t want to jump off a building every time work got hard.

Barely awake, Midoriya sighs and wipes his eyes with his free hand. “Red Riot, is that you? Do you need me to come in?” He practically slurs, fighting the sleep in his body. There’s a groan on the other end, louder than any other sounds he’s heard before, the deep baritone forcing the young hero to sit up straight in his bed. “A-Are you hurt? Do you need help?”
“Ah, fuck,” the man on the other line’s voice is husky, sensual, and instantly sobering. Paralyzed with fear and mild interest, the greenette slaps a hand over his mouth to quiet his breathing, because that is Kacchan’s voice coming through the phone, spewing the dirtiest shit he could ever imagine.
