The prince stepped close to Keith, looking him directly in his eyes. “But I do not need someone to ‘rein me in,’ I am not a pet. I am the prince and am perfectly capable, and do not need you to tell me what to do. And secondly, don’t even for a second think that you’ll be the one to break me. You will most likely be gone within the month, so don’t get too comfortable. Do you understand, mullet?”
It must have been something in the way the prince was looking at him, or the stupid nickname, because suddenly the fact that Lance was the prince meant absolutely nothing.
Keith continued to hold his gaze. “Well good thing my job isn’t meant to control you then, your highness,” he said sneering. “It’s to protect you. So whether you like it or not, I’m with you. No matter how many things you do to make me miserable, you better get used to me because I’m not going anywhere.”

Keith’s hand paused next to the image of a meteor falling from the sky and landing in the ocean. And now it was Lance’s turn to squint.
“-and then another one happening last night."
-After his home planet is taken by the Galra, Prince Lance becomes torn between two lives: his home planet, or the world he crash-landed on, Earth. In order to find his birth brother and keep his new family safe, Lance goes undercover as a human at the Galaxy Garrison. And before Lance can get anywhere near a real Earth ship in order to do that, he finds his plans being thrown out of the window, because Lance is chosen as the Blue Paladin of Voltron.
Destined to save the Universe.
He ends up with a third family, one he'd die for just the same.

Keith turns over on his side to fully face Lance, matching Lance’s pose. One arm under his pillow, the other over it… right next to Lance’s. Almost touching. Their matching bracelets are next to each other, Lance’s bead in the light of the moon. Keith’s is cast in shadow.

Katsuki lifts himself up and blinks, hard.
“Wait, what the fuck? Pause,” Katsuki suddenly says. “That was super fucking weird. I’d never fucking do that, what? Why did – I. Deku: I wouldn’t do that.”
Izuku smiles, nodding, “I know, Kacchan - it’s okay!”
“What the actual fuck? I don’t know why the fuck I said that, holy shit, like what?” He looks up. Huffs out a small laugh, raises a hand to curl his fingers into his ashened strands. Gets that far away look in his eye again.
Katsuki whispers in a bit of a sing-song voice, “That was sooo fucking weirddd,” he laughs and looks at Izuku again. “Right? That was, like. Like, fucking weird to say?”
