Summary
“As I live and breathe, do my eyes deceive me?” That silky voice grates on Geralt’s ears, causing the hair on the back of his neck to stand erect. Geralt squeezes his hand tight around Roach’s reins, drawing her closer to him.
Aubry’s eyes scan over them and finally fall on Geralt, where he’s huddled beside his horse. “Geralt, you haven’t changed one bit.”
His tone is warm and welcoming, as it had been with his brothers, but Geralt feels his toes itching to squirm in the mud underfoot.
OR
Geralt finally returns to the Path after an eventful winter with Lambert and Eskel in tow. However, when an old foe joins their little group, it has dangerous consequences for Geralt.
