Summary
“C’mon, Rek. Wakey, wakey, you can go back to sleep after you eat breakfast.”
Rek's eyes open, lethargic, heavy, a whine escapes his throat, and Jaron can see he is almost falling asleep again.
Jaron fixes him with a glare, and taps his cheeks again, a bit more frantic, but still gentle. “No you don't, good morning Parker.”
Jaron reaches for him with both arms, manhandling Rek, helping him to sit up, he wanting to or nor, the other hides his face on the crook of Jaron’s neck, mumbling something that could be a “fuck off.” or even his credit card information, but Jaron is almost sure it's just a very slurred “morning.” Back to him.
He squints, smiling at Rek. “I need to look at your bandages, don't sleep okay?”
