You were in your backyard innocently watering the newly sprouting plants. It was early spring so you could finally spend some time outside and not be caged in the house like the little birdie you were during the winter. You gently hummed a soft tune as you sprayed each crop with the equal amount of attention.
Tomatoes, eggplants, and cucumbers.. oh and the peppers. Peppers. You hated peppers with every fiber of your being but your husband Ghost forcefully planted them into “your” garden. There was nothing you could do about it anyway so you gave the little angry sprout some water too. All was going well until you heard the harsh, heavy thuds of thick boots repeatedly hitting the pavement as they inched closer.. and closer towards you. All was suddenly not well anymore… and it won’t be for a while.

Summary
A series of oneshots where in each chapter reader has a different phobia. Wanda, Nat and sometimes Pepper comfort reader each time. Basically a bunch of hurt/comfort phobia fics some are really random. Most of the team is there at diffrent points. All set at various points in the MCU and is non canon compliant (like Wanda’s on the hellicarrier and stuff like that, nothing major).
Relationships are open for interpolation and change in each chapter. But the main ones are pepper x reader, wanda x reader, nat x reader, wandanat x reader. I’ll put pairings at the start of each chapter as well.
TW at the start of each chapter and the title of each chapter is the phobia for that chapter. Each phobia has an explanation of what it is in the summary.
