“But you got me thinking last night,” says Nick. “I couldn’t stand that you thought I just wanted to throw you a—a—”
“Pity fuck?” Charlie smirks over his tea.
Nick shakes his head and digs into his own pastry. “Yes, that. You’ve been waiting all these years to meet someone who makes you feel safe and loved. And God, Charlie, you’re my best friend. Of course I want you to have that experience for your first time. So many people’s first times are utter shit. Mine was utter shit. I’d be an awful friend if I didn’t want you to have the best possible experience.”
Charlie has no idea where he’s going with this.
“So,” Nick says, a little nervous, “if you don’t want the first experience to be with me, then as your best friend, I feel it is my duty to help you find the person it will be with. If you want.”

First Work Summary:
The problem with Legends is that, over time, they are altered, misremembered, or forgotten all together. But some Legends are so great, they must be relived, again and again, until they get it right.
Nick dreams only of being the Rugby King of Truham Grammar. Beyond that, he has no idea what he wants to do with his future. Until he meets a boy with curly hair, blue eyes, and dimples.
Charlie dreams of Dragons, and Magick, of brave Knights, and a quest set before him, to bring back the olde ways, and set right the Legend that has been retold thousands of times. This time, he vows to set the record straight (Or not so straight.)

First Work Summary:
Nick’s waiting on the train platform when he gets the first text in a while: hey…, is all it says, and then he gets a photo of Charlie, nestled against his pillows, his face looking very cheeky. He must have just gotten back from his only lecture today. Nick takes a second to appreciate the photo (and to carefully save it to the Charlie folder in his camera roll), heart thumping a bit at the cute little quirk of his brow.Before he can reply he gets another picture, this time faceless, taken from above and cut off at mid-chest: Charlie, in one of Nick’s oversized jumpers, rucked up so half his tummy is showing, and black briefs, all slim hips and pale skin. The light is gauzy and makes him look soft and cuddly. Or it would, except for the way that the whole thing is carefully calculated to drive Nick fucking crazy. Next to him on the mattress is one of their dildos: Charlie’s favorite, pink and medium-sized, with a bulbous head and a suction-cup at the base.
Baby he sends back, fingers a bit clumsy. I’ll be there soon. Just wait for me, okay?
