Nobody knew who Winter Fox was, the only concrete things known about them was that they lived near, if not in, the same city as Bdubs, and they were an arctic fox (one of the only questions they’d ever answered is where they got the username from.) People had their theories, of course, as there were only so many arctic foxes in the city, but it was harder than you’d think to discover the identity of one hybrid in a city full of them. And really, if their fans ever found out who they were, it was very likely they'd stop posting…so best not to dig too deep.

As error logs pile up and the threat of an automated server wipe looms, Cal, Heif, and Lord rush the pair down into the subterranean technical cave to isolate the corrupted data. But while Lord attempts to stabilize the backend and Sway desperately tries to keep his other half grounded, leXD is left in the dark—consumed by the terrifying, suffocating realization that he is the bug tearing their world apart.
