Euijoo’s poor heart is still beating too fast and loud and skipping too many beats to count as Euijoo stands there, stupidly frozen. He forces his eyes off of Nicholas for a few seconds to search for Maki in the crush of bodies, though a much larger piece of him stays there, on that stage; it always will, tethered in more ways than fate itself can count. Red string, soulmates, star-crossed lovers, whatever you want to call it, all of it ties him inextricably to Nicholas in ways he isn’t ready to admit on a random October night in the middle of a club. He’s not feeling it anymore; the atmosphere that had once afforded him the chance to forget and numb himself now pressed into him, making him panic as his eyes finally found Maki near the front of the stage. He wasn’t looking at the stage, too wrapped up in the bunny-like boy centimeters away from him to be paying attention. Euijoo hated to ruin his fun, but he had to leave. He had to leave now.

Summary
After the kiss under the aurora the night before, neither Pantalone nor the new-Dottore would acknowledge what happened, and neither are able to do so either as tight project timelines stack up and an overdue financial presentation looms over the banker. The exhaustion elicited brings about all sorts of problems, and old habits that should have died out returns.
Dottore and Pantalone's shared 400 years long friendship is about to be brought into question and tested against the events of the present and the past. When Ronova and Naberius join forces to mess with all of mankind because of 'unstrung, loose strings that needed to be tied', new problems arise as confrontation with the past is imminent, and new-Dottore would have to confront the soul within him and his own feelings of inadequacy against a man from centuries past.
Then a Ball is scheduled before the new year hits, and Dottore is unwilling to lose his best friend to some random person vying for the same pair of lilac eyes. Once the Traveler arrives, another Pandora's Box is set to open.

WX- 78's favorite minion is obviously Winona, her no-nonsense attitude and knowledge of mechanics making her clearly the best and most capable of the flesh-bags they are stuck with. But, when overhearing a conversation she was having with some of the others, they experience from a time, and person, they would rather be long forgotten. They task themselves with finding a solution to this before it becomes a problem.
Winona isn't one to talk about herself or her past much; aside from Charlie of course. But when a late night conversation at one of Wendy's "sleepovers" gets her reminiscing about the past, she finds herself missing an old friend, and finding solace in spending time with someone who reminds her of them.
