There’s also the topic about his mysterious “friend”, Gwenda—Jeff doesn’t even believe she exists legally—and the whole “your son is in trouble” thing. Was Miles involved in that mafia incident that was all over the news last week? If he was, Rio was going to whoop his ass bad and never let the boy out of her sight.

He managed to clamber backwards a few steps, pure adrenaline the only thing keeping his body from collapsing, remaining pressed into a terrified overdrive of emotions. "Chuuya!" His vision swam mouth drawing dry, mind tipping into a constant overflow of memories that mixed and produced a static blur.
(Chuuya's forced to face his trauma, thrown into a clawing panic attack. Loving boyfriend Dazai, sick of leaving Chuuya to face his demons alone, is right there to bring him back.)
