Chaos can never seem to stay away from Polaris, even when she takes a job as a barista that is by her definition- “calmer,” or it was supposed to be. In a suburban setting where vampires and humans are expected to coexist (“peacefully”) in an overpopulated space, the cafe that Polaris works at is anything but normal.
